Programme Purpose:

The CAPACITI - IT Demand Learnership Programmes 2025 (JHB) is designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge required to thrive in the tech industry. This Learnership Programme will cover topics in either one of the following IT Streams:

• IT Support
• AI | Machine Learning
• Data Fundamentals & Analytics
• Cloud Computing
• Software Development
• Web Development
• Full Stack Development
• Cybersecurity

Candidates will receive an opportunity to gain access to a wide network of field specialists and thought leaders, adding to their growing understanding of the tech world and how we need to be future-focused.

Candidates will receive, depending on their technical stream, certifications that will aid their life-long journey and career in the digital economy.

Candidates will be able to engage with the professional industry having built core job and career critical skills, learned self-regulation and financial literacy, and will have had a one-to-one mentorship by various members of our team.

Candidates will be provided with workplace and employment support after completing the program.


To apply, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • South African Nationality (Born Citizenship).
  • Between the age range of 18 - 34 years old.
  • Meet the minimum NQF level qualification - Completed NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience and qualifications in IT fundamentals (Advantageous). No prior work experience needed.
  • Provide your academic record and certificate of highest academic achievement.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and understanding of IT concepts (Hardware, Software, Networking).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • No criminal record and a clear credit history.
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Able to attend full-time Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00) and commit to the full 12-month IT Learnership Programme and commit to completing it.
  • Must be an EE candidate and preference will be given to PWD candidates (People with Disabilities).
